One Piece Box Sets: How Many Are There? (2026)

Quick Answer: How Many One Piece Box Sets Are There?

There are currently 4 official One Piece manga box sets available in English, all published by VIZ Media (the English-language manga publisher). A fifth box set — Wano to Egghead — has been officially confirmed by VIZ Media and is available for preorder, with a Fall 2026 release window.

Each box set bundles multiple volumes (individual manga books) together in a collector’s box. Sets 1 through 4 cover volumes 1–90. Once Box Set 5 ships, the total box set coverage extends to volume 111. The series is still ongoing, so volumes 112 and up aren’t in a box set yet.

No single source had all five sets, their exact volume ranges, prices, and what’s included in one place — so here it all is.

“Story arc” = a self-contained chapter of the One Piece narrative, usually named after the location where events take place. Each set’s section below includes a brief description of what happens. MSRP = the publisher’s list price before any discounts.

Sets 1–4 are available now. Box Set 5 is preorder-only as of April 2026, with shipping expected Fall 2026.

What’s Inside Each Box Set

Every box set bundles multiple volumes together with at least one physical bonus item — something you don’t get buying volumes individually or in the omnibus format (3-in-1 editions that bind three volumes into a single book, covered in the comparison section below).

Box Set 1 — East Blue and Baroque Works (Vol. 1–23)

MSRP: $244.99 | 23 volumes | Includes: exclusive booklet

This is the beginning of everything — Luffy (the series’ main character) sets out to sea, assembles the first members of his crew, and faces off against Arlong and then Crocodile (the main villains of each arc). Story arcs covered include Romance Dawn, Orange Town, Syrup Village, Baratie, Arlong Park, Loguetown, Reverse Mountain, Whisky Peak, Little Garden, Drum Island, and Arabasta.

If you’re buying for someone completely new to One Piece, this is the one to start with. The exclusive booklet adds a nice bonus for collectors.

Box Set 2 — Skypiea and Water Seven (Vol. 24–46)

MSRP: $244.99 | 23 volumes | Includes: exclusive poster

The crew heads to the sky island of Skypiea, then comes back down to earth for Water Seven and Enies Lobby. Story arcs covered: Jaya, Skypiea, Long Ring Long Land, Water Seven, and Enies Lobby.

Enies Lobby is frequently cited as one of the best story arcs in the entire series — emotionally intense, beautifully paced, and full of moments fans still talk about years later. Box Set 2 is where a lot of readers go from “I like this manga” to “I am completely obsessed with this manga.”

Box Set 3 — Thriller Bark to New World (Vol. 47–70)

MSRP: $254.99 | 24 volumes | Includes: exclusive poster

The biggest box set by volume count at 24 volumes. This one packs in a huge stretch of story — Thriller Bark, Sabaody Archipelago, Amazon Lily, Impel Down, Marineford, the post-war chapters, Return to Sabaody, Fishman Island, and Punk Hazard.

The Marineford War arc lands in this set — a massive, emotionally devastating story arc that permanently changes the direction of the entire series. Box Set 3 covers a lot of ground and at a slightly higher price than Sets 1 and 2, but the per-volume cost works out to roughly the same (~$10.62/vol).

Box Set 4 — Dressrosa to Reverie (Vol. 71–90)

MSRP: $214.99 | 20 volumes | Includes: exclusive booklet + double-sided poster

Covering 20 volumes across Dressrosa, Zou, Whole Cake Island, and Reverie. Fewer volumes than Sets 2 and 3, which accounts for the lower total price — but this one actually bundles two bonus items (a booklet and a double-sided poster), making it feel generous for collectors.

At about $10.75 per volume, Box Set 4’s per-volume cost is consistent with the rest of the series — all four sets fall in the $10.62–$10.75 range at retail.

Box Set 5 — Wano to Egghead (Vol. 91–111) — Preorder, Fall 2026

Preorder available on Amazon | Includes: double-sided poster + One Piece Card Game play mat

VIZ Media officially announced Box Set 5 on their X account, confirming a Fall 2026 release window. It covers volumes 91–111, spanning the Wano and Egghead story arcs.

The bonus items make this one stand out — alongside the double-sided poster, it includes an exclusive One Piece Card Game play mat. One Piece has an official trading card game, and this is the first time any box set has included a card game accessory as a bonus. That’s a particularly nice touch for anyone who plays the card game alongside reading the manga.

Pricing hasn’t been confirmed yet. The preorder is live on Amazon now if you want to lock yours in early.

Do the Box Sets Cover the Complete Series?

Not yet — and that’s simply because One Piece is still being published.

Here’s where things stand as of April 2026:

  • Box Sets 1–4 cover volumes 1–90 completely
  • Box Set 5 (preorder, Fall 2026) will extend coverage to volume 111
  • English VIZ release is currently around volume 110
  • Japanese release is at volume 114
  • Volumes 112 and up are not in any box set format — you’ll need to buy those individually for now

No Box Set 6 has been announced. Given the pattern of how VIZ has released sets so far, a sixth set probably won’t appear until the series reaches a natural story arc break — or finishes entirely. One Piece’s ending is still some way off, so don’t hold your breath for a complete-series box set any time soon.

The practical reality for anyone doing a full read: buy all five sets when they’re available, then pick up the most recent individual volumes to catch up to the current release. It’s a bit of a hybrid approach, but it’s the only option right now.

Box Sets vs. Omnibus Editions vs. Single Volumes — What’s the Best Deal?

Three formats exist for One Piece in English. Here’s how they compare for volumes 1–90 at retail prices:

Format Per-Volume Cost Total (Vol. 1–90) Bonus Items
Individual volumes $17.95 ~$1,615 None
3-in-1 omnibus
(3 volumes bound into 1 book)
~$5.66 ~$510 None
Box sets (1–4) ~$10.62–$10.75 ~$960 Posters, booklets
(Box Set 5 also adds a card game play mat)

The 3-in-1 omnibus editions win on pure cost — three volumes bound into one larger book, at about $5.66 per volume. If getting through the whole story is the goal and physical presentation doesn’t matter much, the omnibus route saves the most money.

The box sets are significantly cheaper than buying individual volumes (~$960 vs. ~$1,615 at retail) but more expensive than the omnibus format. What they offer that the other formats don’t: the collectible packaging, premium extras like posters and booklets, and the visual impact of a full matching set on the shelf.

Individual volumes make sense when following the ongoing release — the most recent chapters aren’t in a box set or omnibus yet, so new releases mean buying singles. They’re also the right choice if you’re filling specific gaps in an existing collection.

One tip worth knowing

Box sets go on sale frequently — discounts of 30–45% off retail on Amazon are common. Buying at full MSRP is rarely necessary if you can wait a bit. Setting a price alert or checking back around major sale events can shave a meaningful amount off the total cost for sets 1–4.

Where to Buy

All four currently available box sets are sold through VIZ Media directly, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, the Crunchyroll Store, and Kinokuniya. Box Set 5 is currently preorder-only — the Amazon preorder link is in the Box Set 5 section above.

Whichever set you start with — honestly, just grab Box Set 1 and go. The story builds on itself in a way that makes it genuinely hard to stop.
